Case Study: Launch Stunt
To mark the release of Dead Island: Riptide, publisher Koch Media wanted to put on a launch event wedding celebration with a twist. The bride and groom, as well as the guests and vicar, were all zombies.
We needed to craft a story that would appeal to mainstream media as well as traditional games press. To do that we worked with a photographer and videographer to ensure that the assets produced were broadcast quality and compelling.
As well as pre-event outreach to news and picture desks, Dead Good collaborated with the bride and groom for a range of media interviews that continued post-wedding. Global mainstream media coverage, covering broadcast, print and online. The Dead Island: Riptide Zombie Wedding won 2x awards at Game Connection 2013.
