Global Outreach

Dead Good is the sole PR agency working on ZA/UM's ground-breaking, multi-award winning RPG, coming onboard a year before the game's launch in 2019. We managed the global press office, and led on global communication strategy, including how to pitch the unique RPG concept to media and influencers, The Final Cut remaster, and separate console format launches that were staggered throughout 2021 (PlayStation, Switch, Xbox). Pro-active pitching for long form features and interview placements continued post-launch, including consultation on future projects and updates.

Review Strategy

As game keys only were only made available to content creators one day pre-release, we utilised launch day streams for maximum impact, organically securing front page on Twitch with streams from three of the world's largest creators - Lirik, CohhCarnage and Fextralife. The review strategy was to actively communicate that we wanted media to take their time with the game due to its size and scope. Currently, Disco Elysium: The Final Cut is the Metacritic highest rated PC of all time, and was voted #1 in PC Gamer's annual Top 100 three years in a row.
